Hello, it’s so nice for you to join me, let me introduce myself. I’m Anna Nuttall living in London and married to my husband Richard. I worked in retail for 10 years before I left and fulfilled my addiction to social media and blogging, where I now work as fashion, lifestyle and travel blogger. I graduated 2012 from Fashion Journalism at University For The Creative Arts where my passion for writing (especially blogging) really took off, I’m not good at expressing myself through speech (I have a slight speech impediment) so I feel more comfortable writing things down. Feel free to say hi anytime. x
What fictional place would you most like to go?
Can I be a typical clique and say Hogwarts? Who doesn’t want to go to a wizard school? I would go but I wouldn’t want to when you know who is around. And I will try and buddy up with Hermonie, I feel I would be safe around her.
What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
The complete tour around Japan. Top to bottom and see everything. I have a feeling that would be amazing.
What’s your favourite drink?
Pina colada cocktails and also Bacardi and diet coke. Can’t drink vodka.
What is something that is considered a luxury, but you don’t think you could live without?
My iPod, my sanity when I’m out and about. Recently went travelling around Europe and it was just brilliant to have a Bluetooth speaker and to play music wherever I was.
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
I work from home, I’m self-employed. So I relax by walking away from my desk and go sit in another room of the house. I switch on Netflix or play a game on the PlayStation.
What is the most heartwarming thing you’ve ever seen?
Oooh that a hard one to think off. It always heartwarming when my little niece gives me a hug and squeezes me tightly whenever she sees me. Also whenever my husband does something sweet and heartwarming. I always get warm fuzzy feeling whenever I see other people cuddles. Umm does that make me sad?
What is one of your favourite smells?
Vanilla, and anything really sweet. I can’t stand the smell of flowers so I like ‘artificial smells’. I also like the smell of petrol.
Who is your most interesting friend?
My husband. My best friend. He makes me laugh all the time. He has a heart of the purest gold. He is genuinely a lovely human. A rare man.
What do you take for granted?
Money. When I have it I spend it like water and when I don’t have it I try to find ways to have more money. Money makes the world go round, but it also the root of all evil.
What’s the best and worst piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Just do it. Someone told me to just do when I was thinking about going self-employed and being a full-time blogger. Somehow and somewhere the universe will look after you, so don’t be afraid and just do it. Oh, also it too short to work in a job you hate.
