Hi, I’m Megan. I’m 26 years old and I’m from Belfast in Northern Ireland. My blog has a beauty, lifestyle and mental health focus.
I also love sharing my own blogging tips with my readers. The main reason I started my blog is to help people, whether that’s recommending products, sharing tips or just letting my readers know that they’re not alone in their mental health journeys.
What fictional place would you most like to go?
Narnia! The thought of crawling into my wardrobe to another world when I’m having a bad day is very appealing!
What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
I want to go on a road trip across every state in America!
What’s your favourite drink?
I’m Irish so I’m going to say, Guinness! But if we’re talking non-alcoholic drinks, I love coffee and Pepsi.
What is something that is considered a luxury, but you don’t think you could live without?
My MacBook Air – I only got it recently but now I can’t remember my life without it.
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
I come home from work, put on my PJs, spend an hour or two working on my blog and then sit down with a big cup of tea and an episode of Riverdale!
What is the most heartwarming thing you’ve ever seen?
I can’t think of one particular thing but every time I see old people holding hands it makes my heart go all warm and fuzzy.
What is one of your favourite smells?
I love the Pink Dragonfruit Yankee Candle and the Michael Kors Glam Jasmine perfume.
Who is your most interesting friend?
All of my friends are interesting in my own way but I have to put forward my friend Rachael for this one. She’s an amazing fashion designer and she also makes these super cute Totoro beanbags. Super talented.
What do you take for granted?
I hope I don’t take anything for granted! I try to appreciate everything I have as I know how quickly it can be taken away!
What’s the best and worst piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Just eat another slice of that pizza” is the best AND worst advice I’ve ever received. In all seriousness, the best piece of advice that I’ve ever received is to stop worrying so much about pleasing other people and to focus on what makes you happy.
